Orientation weekend is held each fall to introduce parents and students to campus life and to help them become more familiar with the University of Notre Dame. Among the planned activities across campus are:
- official welcome
- academic exploration sessions
- orientation with dorm rectors
- student services open houses
- receptions
- Sunday Mass
- introduction to campus athletics programs
The College of Arts and Letters will be hosting an academic exploration session from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, in McKenna Hall, the Notre Dame Conference Center.
