MFA Student Readings #3

-

Location: Carey Auditorium, Hesburgh Library

Margaret Emma Brandl will take you up sweet and gentle through chaos and disasters and tell you and tell you and tell you.

Thade Correa will shine a golden searchlight straight down through your wide-eyed stare to the back edge of your mind you never knew needed saving—until now.

Megan Elise will sackcloth and ash you, remark and remake you, lampblack and chock-full you. Watch out.

Drew Kalbach will grudgingly worship at the porcelain fount of cataracting metaphor and third-grade swirlies (which is where all the good poets go to die).

These readers make no promises for your safety, only for the imminent invigoration and the mental stimulation and the sure-fire reduction of your aesthetics to warm and contented goo.  Come and see what our up-and-coming writers have to offer.
